Fur Trend

Fall/ Winter Trend: Fur. Ladies bring out the fur in whatever form, for a new fashionable look. Pair it with a wide belt and you will be looking like you just stepped off the runway. 

DIY for the Holidays!!

Oranges with cloves stuck in them smell delicious! the citrus of the orange and the cinnamon smell of the cloves is a perfect mix. Set the bowl near a window to get sunlight, and the wonderful fragrance will fill up your home.

How to make:

1. Buy a bag of oranges

2. Buy cloves

3. wash your oranges and then stick the cloves in a fancy design

4. Enjoy!

Valentino Fall 2008 Couture

Valentino's Fall 2008 Couture collection had vibrant colors and funky silhouettes. The shapes were odd, yet surprisingly appealing. They all had interesting details such as crystals or satin ruffles.

Ann Demeaulemeester Spring collection

Ann Demeulemeester's Spring collection had bold shots of bright colors, glittery crystals, as well as slouchy sweaters and jackets that were fierce.

Fashion Learning Community Challenge

      My Fashion Learning community recently had a fashion challenge in which we had to create dresses made from recycled materials.  They both represent certain fashion icons. The one on the left was inspired by Victoria Beckham, and the one on the right is inspired by Marilyn Monroe.

" My personal style is vintage ". Bess Morin mixes accessories together to create an urban chic vibe. She goes vintage shopping to put together unique outfits. 

Project Hallway

Fashion students display their constructive designs in "Project Hallway" in Lyman Hall. Students were assigned to construct dresses out of paper. After students create their dresses out of the paper, they construct flats and patterns, and then proceed to construct their garments out of their desired materials. 

So for the next couple of weeks, I am going to blog, make movies, and discover fashion at Syracuse University.
